Breakfast for Kids: How a Simple Meal Is Transforming Lives in the Amazon

In many Amazonian communities, children wake up each morning without the certainty of food. Through the Breakfast for Kids outreach, Jesus My Amigo is working to change that—one warm meal and one child at a time.

What began as a small initiative has now become a daily blessing for dozens of children. Each morning, they gather with joy, not just for food but for fellowship, prayer, and the comforting message that Jesus cares for them deeply. Many of these children have discovered the love of Christ for the very first time through this outreach.

Our team shares biblical stories, prays with the children, and encourages them to grow in faith. Parents often express gratitude, saying this outreach has brought hope into their homes. A full stomach helps a child focus, learn, and dream—and the Gospel helps them discover purpose and identity in Christ.

This mission continues through the faithful support of partners who believe that no child should go hungry. And every breakfast served becomes a seed of hope planted in a young heart.
